Mark has worked in the Insurance Industry since 1985 and has over 30 years experience, working as a broker since 1997 after commencing in the industry with an insurer. After running another brokerage for eight years Mark purchased Melbourne Insurance Brokers from original owner John Walmsley in 2007 and has successfully run the business since. He has vast experience in looking afte the needs of a diverse range of clients from corporate enterprises all the way to the sole operator.
Education wise Mark obtained a Bachelor of Business majoring in Insurance in the dim dark past, is a Fellow of the Australian Insurance Institute and maintains his education with ongoing training requirements to maintain a Certiified Practicing Insurance Broker (CPIB).
Outside of the office Mark is involved in Rotary, tries to keep up some level of fitness, spending less time than he should with his three adult children and endures forlorn hopes of the Saints winning another flag.
Megan Dancey - Account Executive
Megan Dancey
Megan is the back bone of the office having provided over 20 years loyal & outstanding service to Melbourne Insurance Brokers. Megan has a graduate Certificate IV in Insurance, and has obtained lots of experience working in the insurance industry for more than two decades. Megan has been involved in all aspects of administration, accounts and customer support and now she specialises in providing great service to her portfolio of clients.
Outside the office Megan enjoys travelling, keeping active, catching up with friends, and supporting her favourite team the Sydney Swans.
Megan is a proud mum and loves to spend time with her family by heading down to the beach or exploring the great outdoors.

Daniel Perree
Continuing the family tradition in working in the insurance industry, as my grandparents & dad have done, I enjoy assisting and talking to clients to help resolve their insurance issues. I have been part of the MIB team for almost 6 years.
In my spare time I like to keep active through playing cricket, snowboarding & mountain bike riding. I hope to see the Saints also salute at some point in my life.
